What exam practice offers
Exam practice has original VoltMate question sets organised by qualification and skill route, including City & Guilds 8202 Level 2 and Level 3 routes, with full mock papers and written practice. Each attempt is scored with explanations.

Choose a starter set, a mock paper or written practice, and answer the questions.

Review your score and the explanations, then practise the topics you missed.
What practice is not
VoltMate is not an awarding organisation or an official exam provider. Practice questions are original, not copies of real papers, and a practice score does not predict an exam result or show occupational competence. The full exam practice guide explains the formats, scoring and how standards are used.
Common mistakes
- Memorising practice answers instead of understanding the reasoning.
- Assuming a practice paper has exactly the format of the real assessment.
Troubleshooting
If a route is not listed, clear the search and category filter. If a question looks wrong, report it through Contact & support with the route and question text.
