Regulatory updates and safety alerts

Receive admin-reviewed summaries of UK electrical regulation changes and safety alerts, linked to their official sources and filtered to your work areas.

Before you begin

  • A plan that includes Regulatory Intelligence (Pro).

What you receive

Each update is a short summary of a change or safety alert from an approved official source, with its importance, jurisdiction, effective date and a link to the official source. An update is shown only after an admin has reviewed the source and published it.

Set your work areas and read updates

  1. 1

    Open Regulatory updates.

  2. 2

Choose the work areas that apply to you and choose Save work areas.

  3. 3

Use Affects me to see only the updates for those areas, or filter by category, importance, jurisdiction or relevance.

  4. 4

Open the official source for the full requirement.

  5. 5

Choose Mark read when you have reviewed an update. It moves from the inbox to Read history.

Alerts by email

Choose whether regulatory alerts reach you by email in Notifications. Operational emails and regulatory alerts are separate from any marketing.

Common mistakes

  • Relying on the summary instead of reading the official source before changing how you work.
  • Not saving work areas, so Affects me has nothing to match.

Troubleshooting

If the inbox says you are all caught up, check Read history for updates you have already marked read. If no updates match, choose Clear filters.
