What notifications are for
VoltMate uses in-app and selected operational email notifications for product activity such as reminders and Community interactions. Reminder workflows include deduplication controls so the same eligible event is not intentionally delivered repeatedly for the same reminder key.
Use notifications

Open Notifications and review your current notification state/preferences.

Keep the underlying job, invoice or other source record accurate; reminders depend on those records.

When you receive a reminder, open the source record and act on the actual current state rather than relying only on the email text.

Mark/read notification state as appropriate so the workspace reflects what you have reviewed.
Important limitation
Operational email is a convenience, not a guaranteed safety-critical alerting system. Delivery can be delayed or fail because of provider, mailbox or configuration issues. Do not make legal, electrical-safety or critical appointment compliance depend solely on an email reminder.
Common mistakes
- Relying on an email reminder as the only control for a legal, safety-critical or time-critical obligation.
- Creating duplicate jobs or invoices simply to force another reminder instead of correcting the source record.
- Acting on an old notification without opening the current source record to confirm its latest status.
Troubleshooting
If an expected reminder is missing, check the source record's dates/status and your notification settings first. Do not create duplicate records merely to trigger another reminder. Contact support if the underlying record is eligible and the problem persists.
