Before you begin
- A VoltMate account for signed-in workspace features.
- Use your own professional and business details when creating real records.
What the workspace does
VoltMate brings business administration, inspection workflows, certificate records, technical resources and AI-assisted tools into one UK-focused workspace.
The Knowledge Base and Safety Hub contain technical reference material. This Help Centre explains how to use VoltMate itself.
Start here
- 1
Sign in and open the Dashboard for your current workspace overview.
- 2
Create or select a Client before building client-specific work records.
- 3
Use Jobs and Calendar to organise work, Quotes and Invoices for commercial records, and Inspections for technical inspection workflows.
- 4
Use the global search in the dashboard header to jump to product areas and technical resources.
- 5
Review Notifications, Billing and Data & backup from the workspace when you need account-level controls.
Open a workflow from the homepage
- 1
Choose a step in the homepage workflow: Enquiry opens Clients, followed by Quote, Job, Inspection, Certificate and Invoice opening their corresponding workspace areas.
- 2
If you are asked to sign in, use your VoltMate account. You can switch to Create an account while keeping the selected destination.
- 3
After authentication, continue in the selected area. Opening a step does not create, send or issue a record; use the controls in that workspace when you are ready.
What happens after you save
Server-backed workspace records are tied to the signed-in account and are intended to remain available after refresh and on another signed-in device. An on-screen draft or failed offline action is not the same as a successful server save.
If VoltMate reports that you are offline, do not assume a save, AI request or other server action has been queued. Reconnect and reload current data before relying on the screen.
Common mistakes
- Starting duplicate client or job records instead of opening the existing record first.
- Treating technical guidance or AI output as a replacement for competent assessment.
- Assuming information visible while offline is current server data.
Troubleshooting
If a dashboard page fails to load, refresh once after confirming your connection. If the problem persists, use Contact & support and include the affected area, what you were doing and the exact error shown. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
