Exports
VoltMate provides account-scoped export foundations including CSV outputs and a complete account JSON portability export, with commercial PDF/print outputs available from relevant document workflows.

Open Data & backup while signed into the correct account.

Choose the export appropriate to your purpose.

Store downloaded business/client data securely; an export leaves VoltMate's access controls once it is on your device or another service.

Open a sample of the exported records before relying on the file as your working copy.
Deletion, closure and backups
Account closure and lawful erasure are different from simply hiding a record in the interface. VoltMate's documented closure process has a 30-day recovery window, subject to an earlier lawful deletion or justified hold. Independent logical backups follow a rolling lifecycle and valid erasures must be replayed before an older backup is restored to production.
Immutable issued-certificate history protects document integrity, but immutability is not a blanket exemption from data-protection obligations.
Common mistakes
- Assuming a local export is automatically encrypted or backed up by VoltMate after download.
- Deleting a live record and expecting every historical backup to be rewritten immediately.
- Trying to change issued certificate history through a generic data-management action instead of the certificate lifecycle.
Privacy requests
Use Contact & support and choose the privacy/data-request topic when you need a rights request handled. VoltMate may need proportionate information to verify identity or authority, especially where records are controlled by another workspace owner.
Troubleshooting
If an export fails or appears incomplete, confirm you are signed into the correct account and retry only after checking the current workspace state. If a privacy or account-closure request cannot be completed through the available workflow, contact support rather than attempting to alter immutable certificate history or backup records manually.
