Community posts, comments and reporting

Use VoltMate Community with public-profile awareness, ownership controls and reporting without posting private client or unsafe information.

Before you begin

  • Review the Community Guidelines before publishing content.

Public visibility

Community profiles, posts, comments, replies and attached photos can be publicly visible. Only publish material you have the right to share and that is appropriate for a public electrician community.

Use Community

  1. 1

Open Community and review existing discussions before starting a duplicate topic.

  2. 2

Publish your own post or take part through comments/replies where appropriate.

  3. 3

Use reactions as lightweight feedback rather than posting repeated replies.

  4. 4

Edit or delete your own content through the available ownership controls when needed.

  5. 5

Use the report control for content that may breach the Community Guidelines instead of trying to access moderation/admin functions you do not have.

Privacy and electrical safety

Do not publish client personal data, private addresses/documents, access credentials, confidential certificate material or unsafe instructions. Community discussion is not a substitute for site-specific competent assessment or authoritative standards.

Common mistakes

  • Posting client-identifiable photos, addresses, certificates or other material without a lawful and appropriate basis to share it publicly.
  • Treating Community advice as a substitute for site-specific inspection, testing or authoritative requirements.
  • Creating duplicate discussions or repeated replies instead of checking the existing thread first.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot edit content, first confirm that you are signed into the account that owns it. If harmful or private content cannot be resolved with the normal report controls, contact support with the public discussion reference and a concise explanation.
