- A VoltMate verification reference, link or QR code for the certificate you want to check.
What verification shows
The public verifier is designed to expose limited certificate reference, lifecycle and integrity information rather than private client details or the underlying inspection snapshot.
Verify a record

Open the verification link or scan the QR code printed for the certificate.

Check the certificate reference and current lifecycle state shown by VoltMate.

Review snapshot-integrity and version-chain results where available.

If the certificate is amended or void, follow the current lifecycle information rather than relying only on an older paper/PDF copy.
Integrity is not the same as validity
A verified cryptographic snapshot means the stored version matches its recorded hash/chain. It does not by itself prove the electrician's competence, the accuracy of the technical work, current installation safety or that a void/superseded document should still be relied on.
Common mistakes
- Treating a successful snapshot-integrity check as proof that the installation is currently safe or that the document remains current for use.
- Relying on an older printed or PDF copy without checking whether VoltMate now shows the certificate as amended or void.
- Guessing, altering or sharing a verification reference instead of using the exact reference or QR code supplied with the certificate.
Troubleshooting
If a QR code cannot be scanned, enter the verification reference through the public verification entry point. If the public lifecycle conflicts with a copy you were given, contact the issuing electrician/business before relying on the older copy.
